Army Reserve’s 99th RSC continues Mass Medical initiative
December 11, 2015
Pvt. Jeanette Lee of the Army Reserve’s 244th Aviation Brigade undergoes vision screening during the mass medical-readiness event hosted Aug. 8-9 by the Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., in an effort to increase Soldier readiness throughout the northeastern United States. More than 300 Army Reserve and Army National Guard Soldiers had the opportunity to take care of their Periodic Health Assessments, dental exams, vision screenings, HIV blood draws, immunizations, hearing tests, LOD processing and temporary/permanent profiles during the event.

7th MSC hosts town hall with USAR CXO

KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany —Mr. James Balocki, the command executive officer for the U.S. Army Reserve, speaks with Soldiers and civilians from the 7th Mission Support Command during a town hall Oct. 22, 2015 on Daenner Kaserne.

He visited with civilian and military leaders during his week-long trip, including the Army Reserve Engagement Cell at U.S. Army Europe, the USAREUR G8, the 21st Theater Sustainment Command Deputy Chief of Staff, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Installation Management Command-Europe and USAG Rheinland Pfalz. He also was interviewed by Stars and Stripes as well as the American Forces Network.

Army Reserve command boosts medical readiness throughout 13-state region

Aleksandr Piovesan of the Army Reserve’s 2nd Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment receives a mandatory influenza vaccination during the mass medical-readiness event hosted Oct. 17-18 by the Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., in an effort to increase Soldier readiness throughout the northeastern United States. More than 750 Army Reserve Soldiers from throughout the 99th RSC’s 13-state area of support received mandatory influenza vaccinations and other medical services.
