Hanuman Guardian: U.S. Army Reserve engineers train for demolition operations with Royal Thai Army partners
U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from 444th Engineer Company, 412th Theater Engineer Command and 1st Engineer Regiment, Royal Thai Army measure the length for a line charge March 11, 2026, at the Royal Thai Army Artillery Center in Lop Buri, Thailand, in preparation for their urban demolition range. Hanuman Guardian is a bilateral training exercise between the U.S. Army and the Royal Thai Army in the Kingdom of Thailand. Now in its 17th year, the exercise enhances readiness through realistic training while reinforcing the enduring U.S.–Thailand alliance, one of America’s oldest partnerships, dating back to 1833, and a shared commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
