Army Reserve Soldiers support National Capital Region medical sites during Medical Readiness Skills Sustainment Program for the Military 2025
Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Shawn Hayes, a radiology specialist with the Camp Parks, Calif. based 7234th Medical Support Unit, assists another Soldier in preparing to scan a patient in a diagnostic imaging and radiology machine at the Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center located at Fort Belvoir, Va., Aug. 21, 2025. Hayes is one of approximately 25 Soldiers from the overall Army Reserve Medical Command hierarchy to provide staffing and support augmentation during the Medical Readiness Skills Sustainment Program for the Military, split into two rotations and dispersed at several National Capital Region sites such as ATAMMC, the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, Md., and the DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.; from Aug. 3, 2025, through Aug. 30, 2025.
