Army Reserve senior leader honors ‘Greatest Generation’ on Memorial Day
Brig. Gen. Daniel Hershkowitz, deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Readiness Division, served as keynote speaker during the Memorial Day event held May 27 at Veterans’ Monument in Red Bank, New Jersey. Hershkowitz highlighted the sacrifices made by America’s “Greatest Generation” during World War Two, nothing that the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day begins next month.
