7th MSC Prioritizes Safety
Sgt. 1st Class Lamar Turner, Non-commissioned Officer in Charge of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 7th Mission Support Command talks practical safety tips with Staff Sgt. Nate Foster and Staff Sgt. Grover Cooper, during a leader-lead safety engagement, Aug. 31 2023, at Daenner Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany. The group discussed the importance of prioritizing sleep so Soldiers are alert while performing duty, the role and responsibilities of truck commanders during driving, and the importance of knowing your limits when lifting and moving equipment. The 7th MSC prioritizes safety through a variety of methods including proper risk assessments, leader-lead engagements, routine inspections and safety training. The safety of Soldiers is paramount to successfully completing missions. The 7th MSC is America's Army Reserve presence in Europe, comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy.
