Effects and enablers team create real-world training during Global Medic exercise
U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Oryon Begay gets hands-on training to familiarize himself with a simulated K-9 mannequin as a part of Global Medic, a medical training exercise held in conjunction with Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) 91-23-01, at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, June 12, 2023. Simulated K-9 injuries provide Soldiers an opportunity to familiarize themselves with providing aid to nonhuman companions like military working dogs. This training provides Soldiers opportunities to expand their capabilities to better assist other branches of the U.S. military and law enforcement. (U.S. Army Reserve photo by Spc. Larissa Peterson.)
