Korean War Veterans Armistice Day
War on the Korean peninsula was halted with the Korean Armistice Agreement in 1953. The U.S. Army Reserve recognizes the veterans and those who lost their lives in the fight for democracy in "a country they never knew and a people they never met," which is inscribed on the dedication stone at the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
