Vibrant Response reaches new heights with emergency deployment readiness exercises
A U.S. Air Force air crew member offloads a government satellite vehicle from a C-130 aircraft during an Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise at the Columbus Municipal Airport in Columbus, Indiana, May 2, 2023. EDREs allow active duty, National Guard, and reserve components to practice their response capability in support of simulated chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive events. EDREs coincide with Vibrant Response to evaluate the efficiency of mobilizing personnel, equipment, and resources for CBRNE response at a moment’s notice. (U.S. Army Photo by Spc. Noelani Revina)
