Engineers conduct floating bridge operations at Camp Ripley
U.S. Army Soldiers with the 334th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 34th Infantry Division ride an improved ribbon bridge (IRB), constructed by the Army Reserve 652nd Engineer Company, 397th Engineer Battalion, across a section of the Mississippi River at Camp Ripley, Minnesota, July 16, 2022. An IRB, used either as a floating bridge or a multi-bay ferry, allows units to perform wet-gap crossings for combat and tactical vehicles. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
