Army Reserve Soldiers train on water treatment procedures
U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from the 968th Quartermaster Company based in Tustin, California, prime a raw water pump June 20, as part of the Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise held at Camp Pendleton, California. The pump is used to pull water from the Pacific Ocean and move it to a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit that purifies the water, making it drinkable for Soldiers participating in the QLLEX.
