Guardian Response 22
Members of the 526th Engineer Construction Company based out of Fort Stewart, Ga., carry a simulated injured woman from a subway car after a mock nuclear bomb was detonated nearby May 9, 2022, at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, Ind. The Soldiers are participating in a multicomponent homeland emergency exercise named Guardian Response 22. The exercise, hosted at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Area, Ind., is designed to boost capabilities, hone their skills at urban search and rescue, and improve readiness of the Army units assigned to the Department of Defense’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Response Enterprise.
