AMC farewells one of its top leaders
Army Materiel Command’s Maj. Gen. Bob Harter, right, receives the General Brehon Somervell Award of Excellence, presented by AMC Commander Gen. Ed Daly on behalf of the Combined Arms Support Command during a July 20 farewell and awards ceremony at AMC Headquarters, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. The award recognizes Harter’s ability as a multi-functional logistician. Harter is going to be the as Deputy Chief of Army Reserve, Office of the Chief of Army Reserve.
