Munitions transportation training a win-win for reserve Soldiers; Crane Army Civilians
Spc. Haylie Tysdal prepares a container of munitions to be removed by a stacker at Crane Army Ammunition Activity. The 1742nd Transportation Company, South Dakota National Guard, traveled to multiple ammunition depots across Army Materiel Command as part of Operation Patriot Press, to accomplish annual training and to assist depots with the transportation of classified munitions. These National Guard Soldiers worked alongside Crane Army civilians to perform drop-off and pick-up procedures for convoys of classified munitions.
