351 CACOM Functional Specialty Team Recognized with Prestigious IRT Award For Building Partnership With Community Of Unalaska
U.S. Army Reserve Lt. Col. Hugh Douglas (Right Rear), governance and participation section chief for the 351st Civil Affairs Command, Functional Specialty Team (FxSP) flies on board a Piper Navajo (PA-31) aircraft, traveling from Cold Bay to Dutch Harbor (Unalaska), Alaska during the Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Civil-Military Partnership, Leaders’ Reconnaissance, July 22, 2020. IRT is a joint training concept that the Department of Defense (DOD) implemented to increase unit deployment readiness, leveraging the military contributions of U.S. Armed Forces capabilities, combined with local resources to build strong civil-military partnerships for communities in the contiguous United States and its territories.
