FORT McCOY, Wis. - U.S. Army Soldiers and U.S. Marines attending the Cold-Weather Operations Course (CWOC) conduct a 5-mile foot march while utilizing their cold-weather gear Feb. 4, 2020, at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. CWOC is designed to provide units with a subject-matter expert in cold-weather operations. The course focuses on correct wear and usage of equipment, first aid, patrol base operations and other courses related to survival in an environment with extremely cold weather.
