GAFPB Day Four: Road Ruck March
A group of Soldiers make it to the six-kilometer mark of the road ruck march as part of the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (GAFPB) at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Dec. 19, 2019. To receive gold in this event, Soldiers need to march 12 kilometers with a 33-pound ruck on their backs. The road ruck march has a two hour time limit and is one of the six military training events in the GAFPB: 11 x 10 meter sprint, flexed-arm hang, 1000-meter sprint, 100-meter swim, road ruck march, and pistol qualification.
