FORT SHAFTER, Hawaii - Command Sgt. Maj. Jessie Baird, the senior enlisted leader of the 9th Mission Support Command, leads a color guard representing the over 3000 Army Reserve Soldiers serving from Saipan, Guam, American Samoa, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Alaska and Hawaii. Army Families and Senior Army leaders of the Pacific gathered to honor outgoing Commanding General of the 9th Mission Support Command Brig. Gen. Douglas F. Anderson and welcome incoming Commander Col. (P) Timothy D. Connelly during an official Change of Command ceremony at Fort Shafter's historic Palm Circle June 30.
