Army Reserve Soldiers trek 582 miles across Europe for Operation Saber Guardian 19
A Bulgarian police officer directs traffic while the 211th Regional Support Group, 4th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), convoy takes a tactical halt May 28, 2019 in Bulgaria. The police escort helped ensure the safety of the military convoy and local populace by preventing accidents as the vehicles moved towards their destination in Cincu, Romania. Saber Guardian 2019 is an exercise co-led by Romanian Land Forces and U.S. Army Europe, taking place from June 3-24, to enhance joint and combined interoperability across a variety of mission sets between Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, the U.S. NATO allies and Partnership for Peace Nations.
