Early Morning Mountain Hike
Army Reserve Soldiers from the 76th Operational Response Command pause to catch their breath and take in the spectacular valley views after climbing the "Living Room" trail in Salt Lake City, Utah Nov. 3. The climb, led by Brig. Gen. Doug Cherry, commanding general, 76th ORC and Command Sgt. Maj. Jeff Darlington, command sergeant major, 76th ORC was part of a team-building event at the annual Commander's Conference for brigade and battalion commanders and sergeant's major. The trail ascents more than 1,000 feet in approximately 2.4 miles, taking hikers to an elevation of nearly 6,000 feet while providing breath-taking views of the Salt Lake Valley.
