Super Typhoon Yutu Relief Efforts
SAIPAN, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands – Army Reserve Spc. Leila Catching, center, a Soldier with the 302nd Quartermaster Company, 9th Mission Support Command, inputs U.S. Air Force airmen information into a database, Oct. 28, at the Francisco C. Ada International Airport. The process, better known to military personnel as Reception, Staging, Onward Movement and Integration (RSOI), is a means of tracking all DoD personnel arriving and departing Saipan in support of disaster relief effort caused by Super Typhoon Yutu. Service members from Joint Region Marianas and Indo-Pacific Command are providing Department of Defense support to the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands' civil and local officials as part of the FEMA-supported Typhoon Yutu recovery efforts.
