As a Total Force Training Center, Ft. McCoy's primary responsibility is to support the training and readiness of military personnel and units of all branches and components of America's armed forces. The 88th RD facilitates training on Ft. McCoy through programs like Operation Platinum Support which allows Army Reserve Soldiers to gain proficiency in technical skills by providing real-world support skills while acting in direct support to the numerous exercises taking place on Ft. McCoy.
