Cold Steel II: simulated patient care
U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers completed convoy live-fire lane validation during Operation Cold Steel II, hosted by the 377th Theater Sustainment Command at Fort Knox, Ky., March 17, 2018. Troop List Unit Soldiers will complete these lanes to apply what they learned at Fort McCoy, Wis., as a crew conducting a convoy protection platform and expand it to train as a convoy escort team. Operation Cold Steel is the U.S. Army Reserve’s crew-served weapons qualification and validation exercise to ensure America’s Army Reserve units and Soldiers are trained and ready to deploy on short-notice as part of Ready Force X and bring combat-ready and lethal firepower in support of the Army and our joint partners anywhere in the world.
