The 982nd is the total Army's only airborne combat camera unit. COMCAM forces perform a unique and highly specialized mission. Their capabilities range from aerial photography and airborne qualification to special forces reconnaissance and underwater photography. CSTX 78-18-03 is a training exercise that ensures America's Army Reserve units and Soldiers are trained and ready to deploy on short-notice and bring capable, combat-ready and lethal firepower in support of the Army and our joint partners anywhere in the world.
