ARMEDCOM first line leaders are key to a culture of care
Instructors Sgt. 1st Class Jeffrey Bruce, assigned to Central Medical Area Readiness Support Group, and Sgt. 1st Class Jennifer Bunch, assigned to 7302nd Medical Training Support Battalion, teach 25 students assigned to units throughout CE-MARSG during an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training class held 28-30 November, 2017, in Des Moines, Iowa. The ASIST program and its Pathway for Assisting Life (PAL) model are utilized by the U.S. Army Reserve to train leaders and key personnel in suicide intervention techniques so that individuals can go back to their units as a new capability for their commanders.
