To honor the fallen: inside the Dover Port Mortuary
Great care is taken when assembling the dress uniforms of fallen service members at the Charles C. Carson Center, located at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Del. The Charles C. Carson Center is home to the Port Mortuary, which is responsible for returning all Department of Defense service members, civillians, and contractors who perish during contigency operations overseas.
