Taking Defensive Positions
U.S. Army Sgt. Paul Mbugua, maintenance supervisor, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), takes his position on a defensive perimeter around his command’s Tactical Operations Center Aug. 16, 2017, in Ft. McCoy, Wis. Mbugua and more than 100 Soldiers from the 143d ESC performed various Battle Drills to enhance individual Soldier readiness during Combat Staff Exercise 17-02. Battle Drills was one of the many components to CSTX, a culminating exercise that tested the 143d ESC’s capabilities to provide uninterrupted sustainment to more than 100 units from around the country.
