Kingsport Tennessee Native Earns Expert Infantry Badge
Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Clint Myers, a Kingsport, Tennessee native, stands with Sgt. 1st Class Eric Gordon after receiving his Expert Infantry Badge at McCrady Training Center in Eastover, S.C. on March 31, 2017. Myers earned the prestigious EIB after completing the two-week preparation course and grueling 5-day competition, which Gordon encouraged him to do. Myers started his EIB journey along with 122 other Soldiers. Upon completion of the competition, only 17 Soldiers earned the EIB, and Myers was the only Reserve Soldier among them.
