Quartermaster unit turns lake water drinkable for 2017 WAREX at Fort McCoy
Soldiers with the 810th Quartermaster Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, reconfigure camouflage netting on a Reverse-Osmosis Water Purification Unit at Big Sandy Lake on May 10, 2017, during operations for the 86th Training Division’s Warrior Exercise 86-17-02 at Fort McCoy, Wis. The Warrior Exercise provides unique training opportunities for various Soldiers in various military occupation specialties to train together on simulated combat missions and to work together as a team, just like they would in a real-world environment. The 810th provided the majority of the drinkable water used in the exercise through water-purification efforts. (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T. Sturkol, Public Affairs Office, Fort McCoy, Wis.)
