2017 National Day of Prayer Spiritual Fitness Run/Walk
Chaplain (Col.) David Waters, Fort Bragg, N.C., Garrison Chaplain, leads a formation in a time of pray as Soldier, civilians and their families gather outside of Marshall Hall to participate in the National Day of Prayer 2017. Soldiers and civilians set aside time to reflect and prayer for our country during this event. With an emphasis on both spiritual and physical fitness, they ran for approximately 45 minutes, using this time to reflect and pray as well as work on physical fitness. The National Day of Prayer is recognized around the nation on the first Thursday of May every year. It is a time for people around the nation to gather and set aside a time of prayer for the country and its leaders.
