Veterans Advocacy Legal Organization (VALOR) Speaker Series
Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General of the United States Army Reserve Command spoke with students and faculty members at the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill, NC on Feb. 14, 2017. As part of the Veterans Advocacy Legal Organization (VALOR) speaker series, Luckey talked about the importance of being a part of America's Army Reserve team and the duties and responsibilities tied to supporting and defending the America people as a Soldier. He also encouraged the group of Law School students to remain committed to their skills and to embrace the relevance of team collaboration. VALOR is a UNC School of Law student organization dedicated to serving Veterans. The primary goals of the organization or (1) Serve: Provide pro bono legal services to Veterans in the community, 2) Educate: Provide community outreach and education and (3) Connect: Build a community of military-affiliated students and supporters.
