All-American Athletes and Soldiers join forces to bring smiles to kids
Army Staff Sgt. More than 30 high-school athletes from the All-American Bowl teams along with their Soldier mentors took the opportunity to visit with kids at the hospital as part of a community relations event Jan. 3. The group is in San Antonio preparing for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl scheduled for Jan. 7. The bowl has been the nation's premier high school football game for 16-years, serving as the preeminent launching pad for America's future college and National Football League stars.
