Women in the military speak in Ukraine
Maj. Katrina Self, a lawyer in the U.S. Army Reserve and a professional associate in public affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, spoke about the honors and obstacles of being a woman serving in the military, Sept. 29, at the America House in Kyiv. Self was the moderator of the event and, along with four other women service members from the U.S. and Ukraine spoke about their trials, tribulations and successful moments during their time in the military.
