1207th USAH 2016 Innovative Readiness Training in South Dakota
LOWER BRULE RESERVATION– U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Zahra Campbell, a medical laboratory technician from Tuskegee, Ala., inspects a urine sample for contaminants July 19, 2016. Campbell is conducting an Innovative Readiness Training Mission at the Lower Brule Indian Health Center, a small clinic located in Lower Brule, S.D., with the 1207th U.S. Army Hospital. The Indian Reservation is 60 miles southeast of the state capital in Pierre. IRT allows Campbell, who is also a laboratory technician in her civilian capacity, to use her Army training, along with her civilian skills, to assist the Lower Brule IHC with clinical laboratory work.
