Fuel for thought: Like food for Soldiers, fuel for vehicles just as important
U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Matthew Hennessey, a native of Orwell, Ohio, and petroleum laboratory specialist assigned to the 475th Quartermaster Group, based out of Farrell, Pa., observes the remains of a fuel sample after the contamination test ran through the Distillation Apparatus at Fort A.P. Hill, Va. This is all part of the 2016 Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise, which consists of multiple units operating at various locations providing safe, responsive, on-time petroleum support to specified Army Reserve exercises and Department of Defense customers.
