U.S. Army officers graduate among hundreds of Kings Pointers
A group of newly commissioned U.S. Army lieutenants sign the Oath of Office at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, June 18. The three officers pictured here all joined the engineering branch in the U.S. Army Reserve and will belong to the 306th Engineer Company (Vertical), belonging to the 412th Theater Engineer Command. The 2016 graduating class included 229 senior midshipmen, each earning a Bachelor of Science degree, a direct commission into the armed forces and a U.S. Coast Guard license.
