U.S. Army officers graduate among hundreds of Kings Pointers
A group of lieutenants who just commissioned into the U.S. Army congratulate one another at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, during a private commissioning ceremony June 18. Maj. Gen. Phillip Churn, commanding general of the 200th Military Police Command, U.S. Army Reserve, a native of Washington, D.C., administered the Oath of Commissioned Officers for the Army lieutenants. Three of the lieutenants joined the engineering branch in the U.S. Army Reserve and will belong to the 306th Engineer Company (Vertical), belonging to the 412th Theater Engineer Command.
