Active Army and Army Reserve Soldiers partner to help forces move into Poland for Anakonda 16.
Soldiers from the 230th Sustainment Brigade, Tennessee National Guard and the Army’s Surface Deployment Distribution Command both worked to move more than 400 pieces of military equipment from the ARC Independence at the Port of Szczecin May 16. The operation was expected to take two days, but the crew completed it in less than 24 hours. The 364th ESC is the lead sustainment unit with command and control over more than 35 active Army and Reserve Component units during Anakonda 16.
