Holocaust Day of Remembrance 2016
Eva Dukesz Friedlander, a Holocaust survivor, receives a standing ovation from over 100 soldiers of the 335th Signal Command (Theater), May 14, 2016 at East Point, Georgia. Friedlander shared her life story and how she survived the Holocaust at the Holocaust Day of Remembrance. During the 335th SC(T) battle assembly weekend, the Equal Opportunity Office conducted its annual observance of the National Day of Remembrance, which was established by Congress in 1980 to ensure the victims of the Holocaust are remembered forever.
