Operation Patriot Hook is a joint service and inter-agency exercise which partners local military branches with members of local, federal, and state agencies to practice their combined response procedures in case of major regional disasters such as earth quakes, riots, or fires. In its 29th year as an exercise, agencies involved in this year's Operation Patriot Hook included the U.S. Army Reserve, the U.S. Air Force Reserve, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI.
