First Army Reserve female 12Bs set to graduate

Sandoval is one of the first two Army Reserve female 12Bs set to graduate Jan. 15 from Fort Leonard Wood, after which she will return to her home unit of 386th Engineer Company, Las Vegas, Nevada. 12B is the military occupational specialty identifier for combat engineers, a field that until 2015 was not open to women.
