Mobilized on the homefront

Conlu, an Antique, Philippines, native serving as a transportation management coordinator assigned to the 520th Movement Control Team, fires his M16 rifle downrange during a weapons qualification event held Jan. 24, 2015, at the Combat Arms Training Facility in Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. The 641st Regional Support Group, an Army Reserve transportation and logistics command based in St. Petersburg, Fla., coordinated with the Air Force to use this $8.5 million facility to train and qualify hundreds of its soldiers participating in Operation Responsive Sentinel, a multi-echelon training exercise designed to test the command’s readiness and capabilities from the RSG to the individual Soldier level.
