Army Reserve Ambassador Phil Stage served in management and staff positions with the International Business Machines Corporation in California and Asia for 30 years. He served for five years as an Employer Partnership Program Support Manager for the Army Reserve after retiring from IBM.  As an Army Officer, he served as Platoon Leader through Company Commander with the California National Guard, 40th Infantry Division. In the Army Reserve, he held command and staff duties with the 91st Division and later was a Battalion Commander, ACoS, G-1, and Chief of Staff for the 351st Civil Affairs
Command. He deployed twice, once as Chief of Current Operations, USACPOC – Ft Bragg, NC, and, as the Deputy Task Force Commander – 351st CJCMTF, Bosnia - Herzegovina. He assumed Command of Simulation Exercise Group III, 91st Division, after returning from Bosnia and had a final assignment as the Chief of Staff for the 351st Civil Affairs Command.
