Army Reserve Ambassador James Bernet was born in Cleveland, Ohio and his family moved to Connecticut to begin its family business, operating truck stops and travel centers in Connecticut, Maryland & Florida. Bernet set the Guinness World Record in 2008 for the largest wheelchair tennis tournament benefiting Sharp Rehabilitation Hospital. Bernet advocates for young people encouraging them to make good choices by surrounding themselves with good people and becoming involved in their communities. Bernet strives to create options for young people to continue their education and serve their country.
