Army Reserve Ambassador Michael Buscher is the Executive Director of Fortem Technologies, a leading provider of Counter UAS technologies for the government and civilian markets. Prior to that he was the Chief Growth Officer for BigBear.ai, a recognized leader in AI/ML enabled technology to the government and private sector. Prior to this position, Mr. Buscher held a variety of senior leadership roles to include Vice President at Peraton, Vice President & Director of the National Intelligence Center at Huntington Ingalls Industries as well as Chief Executive Officer at Vanguard Defense Industries which pioneered the use of unmanned technology for law enforcement and the commercial sector. In addition to Mr. Buscher’s six years of enlisted and 24 years of service as a Commissioned Officer in the Army and Army Reserves, he served nearly ten years as a Senior Operations Officer in the Central Intelligence Agency while simultaneously continuing his service in the USAR. Mr. Buscher has served on two separate Joint Terrorism Task Forces, Chaired the Gulf Coast Anti-Terrorism Taskforce, briefed senior policy makers and held significant leadership roles domestically, as well as in Iraq, Afghanistan, North Africa and Eastern Europe.
