Command Sergeant Major Anderson was born
in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and joined the United States Army in 1988 as a 19K – M1
Armor Crewman. Upon completion of his
training, he was assigned to F Co 40th Armor, Berlin, Germany; 4/64
Armor Bn, Fort Stewart, Georgia; reclassified to 36B – Accounting Specialist
and was assigned to 33d Finance Bn, Fort Drum, NY as a Disbursing NCOIC,
Sergeant Major Anderson then joined the
Army Reserve as an 88M – Motor Transport Operator. He entered the Active/Guard
Reserve (AGR) Program in April 1999.
Prior to
this assignment he was assigned as the United States Army Support Activity,
Fort Dix, Command Sergeant Major. His previous assignments include: 420th Transportation Battalion
(MC), Command Sergeant Major; Office of the Chief Army Reserve, Army Reserve
CSM Executive Sergeant Major; 649th RSG(P) CSM, Kandahar,

Sergeant Major Anderson’s military

Sergeant
Major Anderson has an Associate’s Degree in Individual Studies from Jefferson
Community College, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from Excelsior
College and a Masters of Arts in Management and Leadership from Liberty
University. He is also an International Honor Society of Business, Management
and Administration - Sigma Beta Delta member.
