Command Sergeant Major Vicki L. Briggs was selected as the Command Sergeant Major for the Army Reserve Sustainment Command on 12 January 2013. 

Her previous assignments include: 364th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) Rear Detachment Command Sergeant Major from July 2011 until July 2012; Command Sergeant Major for the 96th Sustainment Brigade from March 2009 to January 2013 with whom she was mobilized in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served in Iraq from September 2009 until May 2010.  Command Sergeant Major, 191st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Command Sergeant Major, 172nd Medical Battalion.  In January 2003, she was mobilized with the 172nd Medical Battalion in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served in Kuwait and Iraq until March 2004.  Her assignments prior to her selection as Command Sergeant Major in May 2002 include:  First Sergeant, Logistics Support Company, 172nd Medical Battalion, Ogden Utah; NBC NCO, HHD, 172nd Medical Battalion, Ogden Utah; Command Language Program Manager, First Reserve Forces Intelligence School; ANCOC, BNCOC, Electronic Warfare Signal Intelligence Analyst and German instructor, First Reserve Forces Intelligence School, Fort Devens Massachusetts; Voice Intelligence Analyst, 226th Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Devens Massachusetts; Enciphered Communications Analyst, Berlin Germany; and Traffic Analyst, Berlin Germany.

CSM Briggs’ military education include the Sergeant Major’s Academy, First Sergeant’s Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officer Course; Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course; Primary Leadership Development Course; Medical Supply Course; Enciphered Communications Analysis Course; Signal Intelligence Analysis Course; Master of Fitness Trainer Course; Battle Focused Instructor Trainer Course; Language Instructor Trainer Course; Sling-Load Inspector Certification Course; Basic German Course; the Unit Level Logistics System Supply Course (ULLS-S4); the Department of Defense Packing and Shipping of Hazardous Materials Certification Course; and Basic Combat Training. 

CSM Briggs’ awards include the Bronze Star Medal with one oak leaf cluster; the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with four oak leaf clusters; the Army Achievement Medal with one silver leaf cluster; the Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal with three oak leaf clusters; the Army of Occupation Medal; the National Defense Ribbon with one bronze star; the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal; the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with “M” device and silver hourglass and the numeral 2; the NCO Development Ribbon with numeral “4”; the Army Service Ribbon; and the Reserve Component Overseas Training Ribbon with “numeral 2”, the Meritorious Unit Citation with one oak leaf cluster, the Combat Action Badge and the Drivers Badge.
