Command Sergeant Major Robert J. Boudnik assumed responsibility as Command Sergeant Major of the Army Reserve Medical Command, Pinellas Park, Florida on April 15, 2020.
A native of Greenfield, Wisconsin, CSM Boudnik entered the United States Army in August of 1984, attending One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Knox, Kentucky where he began his military career as an armor crewman.
CSM Boudnik has served in leadership positions at all levels of his tenure to including seven assignments as command sergeant major with Medical Readiness and Training Command in San Antonio, Texas; 3rd Medical Command (Deployment Support) at Fort Gillem, Georgia; Detachment 6, 3rd MCDS Operational Command Post Forward (OCP), Camp Arifjan, Kuwait; 332nd Medical Brigade, in Nashville, Tennessee; 345th Combat Support Hospital, in Jacksonville, Florida; 2nd Battalion, 330th Infantry Regiment in Forest Park, Illinois; 1st Battalion, 50th Infantry Regiment at Fort Benning, Georgia, and as brigade operations sergeant major for the 198th Infantry Brigade, Fort Benning, Georgia.
CSM Boudnik’s military education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic and Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, United States Army Sergeant Major Academy, Nominative Leader Course, Battalion/Brigade Pre-Command Course, Drill Sergeant School, Master Fitness Trainer Course, Combat Lifesaver Course, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Level 2 Course, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Course, Armor Crewman course for both the M60A3 and M1, Infantryman, and the Cannon Crewmember Military Occupational Specialties. His civilian education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, an Associate Degree in Business, Project Management certification, Microsoft Certified System Engineer, and certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional.
CSM Boudnik’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with three bronze oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster, Army Good Conduct Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal with one silver oak leaf cluster, National Defense Service Medal with two bronze service stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development (4th award), Army Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M device (2) with gold hourglass, Drill Sergeant Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge and the Order of Saint Maurice (Legionnaire).
In his civilian capacity, CSM Boudnik serves as a Staff Supervisory Assistant for the U.S. Army Reserve located in Birmingham, Alabama.
