3rd Medical Command

Major General Dziedzicki began his military career June 16, 1984 receiving a direct commission as a First Lieutenant with the Control Group.  In March 1986, he served as a clinical nurse for the 350th Evacuation Hospital, and then was assigned to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for the 256th General Hospital.   He continued to serve the 256th General Hospital in various positions.  The 256th General Hospital converted to the 256th Combat Support Hospital.   He served as an Operations Officer from May 1991 - September 1999 and then as the Executive Officer from September 1999-December 2002.  He was mobilized to active duty in February 1991 assigned to the Emergency Room as Acting Clinical Head Nurse for the MEDDAC at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was released from active duty May 1991 and reassigned to the 256th Combat Support Hospital. He was promoted to Major in December 1994 and to Lieutenant Colonel in November 2000.  Major General Dziedzicki was assigned to the 307th Medical Group as the Chief of Staff from December 2002 - October 2005.  During his tenure with the 307th he was promoted to colonel.  In October 2005, he was selected to Command the 256th Combat Support Hospital.  He returned to the 307th Medical Group in May 2007 as Commander (Acting) for one year.  His next assignment was as Chief of Staff for the 330ththh Medical Brigade from May 2008- to May 2009.  MG Dziedzicki was selected to Command the 307th Medical Group on October 2010. He was promoted to brigadier general on October 9, 2010 and was assigned to the 3rd Medical Deployment Support command in Forest Park, Georgia as Deputy Commander Mission Support Element. He was promoted to major general and Commander of 3rd Medical Command Deployment Support on July 2013. Major General Dziedzicki has earned several military awards during his services to the United States Army Reserves.  He was been awarded the Army Commendation Medal in 1988, 1991, 1992 and 1997; the Army Achievement Medal in 1990 and 1994 and the Army Meritorious Service Award in 2004 and 2005.   A native Clevelander, Major General Dziedzicki graduated from Valley Forge High School in Parma.  He was the first male to graduate from Ursuline College Breen School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1981.  In 1992, he earned a Master in Business Administration from John Carroll University.  A Masters in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College was earned in July 2010.  He is a graduate of the United States Army Command and General Staff College, United States Air War College and the United States Army War College. Major General Dziedzicki is the Chief Support Services Officer at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. His responsibilities include planning, operational management, quality improvement, and control of all Diagnostic/Therapeutic Services, Facilities, and Support Services.  He has been married to a Registered Nurse for thirty years.  They have three sons as well as three grandchildren.​usar
