Command Sergeant Major Nagee H. Lunde was born in Monrovia, Liberia. He entered the United States Army on April 14, 1987 and attended Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning, Georgia as an Infantryman.  

CSM Lunde was stationed at Fort Ord, Calif. from 1987-1990 serving with the 2/27 Infantry Regiment as a Team, Squad, and Reconnaissance element Leader. In 1989 he deployed to the Republic of Panama in support of Operation Just Cause as a Squad Leader of a Light Infantry element. 

In 1990, CSM Lunde enlisted in the United States Army Reserve where he served as a Drill Sergeant until his selection into the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) program. Command Sgt. Major Lunde has served as Recruiter, Station Commander, Guidance Counselor, Senior Battalion Trainer and Senior Operations NCO.  In 2001, CSM Lunde was selected and assigned to build the USAR Retention and Transition Command where he served as Area manager, Senior Operations NCO and Senior Retention and Transition NCO for the 63rd Regional Support Command. . From 2004 – 2007 CSM Lunde served as the Battalion CSM for the 413th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion.  In 2007, CSM Lunde was selected to serve as the first Command Sergeant Major to the 77th Sustainment Brigade. His BDE Deployed in support of Operation New Dawn (OND) at Balad, Iraq and was responsible for the responsible draw down of troops and the reposture of US Forces in Northern Iraq.  In his current assignment, CSM Lunde serves as the Command Sergeant Major to the 377th Theater Sustainment Command located in Belle Chasse, La.

His military Education and Schools include: the US Army Force Management Course, Command Sergeant Major (D) Course, Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Navy Criminal Justice Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, TRADOC Drill Sergeant School, U S Army Recruiting Course, U S Army Guidance Counselor Course, USAR Retention and Transition Course, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, Master Fitness Course, Ranger Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, Combat Leader’s Course and Jungle Operations Training Course. 

His awards and decorations include, Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (3rd OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (4th  OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (9th OLC), the Good Conduct Medal (7th AWD), the National Defense Service Medal (service star), the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal (Service Star), the Global War on Terrorism Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal w/ Silver Hourglass, M device, the NCO Professional Development Medal (w/ numeral 4), the Meritorious Unit Award, the Army Superior Unit Award (1st OLC) the Ranger Tab, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Parachutist Badge, the Air Assault Badge, the Drill Sergeant Badge, Recruiting Badge (Gold W/3 Sapphires) USA Recruiting Ring Gold and Platinum, the Career Counselor Badge,  the Army Physical Fitness Badge

CSM Lunde is in his 4th Year of College at Columbia College of Mo. His course of study is a Bachelor of Science Degree – Liberal Studies with a focus on Management Studies.
