Command Sergeant Major Christopher S. Lindung enlisted in the United States Army in March 1984. He received his Basic and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning, GA.

Command Sergeant Major Lindung’s stations of assignments after completion of training includes: CSC, 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC(1984-1988); C Company, 2nd Battalion, 12th Special Forces Group (ABN), San Diego, CA(1988-1994); 301st Psychological Operations Company (ABN), San Diego, CA(1994-2004); CSM for 426th Civil Affairs Battalion (SO)(ABN), Upland, CA(2004-2007); CSM for 14th Psychological Operations Battalion, Moffett Field, CA(2007-2012). CSM for the 358 Civil Affairs Brigade, Riverside CA.(2012-2013). His last unit of assignment was as the CSM for the 7th Psychological Operations Group, Moffett Field, CA. His deployments’ include Operation Uphold Democracy with the 301st POC (1995-96); Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 301st POC (2003-04) and Operation New Dawn with the 14th Psychological Operations Task Force (2011).

Command Sergeant Major Lindung is a graduate of the Basic, Primary and the Advanced Non-commissioned Officer Courses, the First Sergeant Course and a graduate of Class 31 of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy.

Command Sergeant Major Lindung is currently employed as a Supervisory Special Agent with the Department of Homeland Security’s Marine Task Force (HSI) in San Diego, CA. CSM Lindung is married to the former Elizabeth Wuestenberg of Carson City, NV. They have 3 children; Christopher, Matthew and Peter.
